He Enjoys Warmth:
Ashley likes warm, lazy days. He often times lounges about his room on hotter days in his underwear or PJ pants watching TV or surfing the web on his laptop that he shares with his sister, or in rarer cases working on his homework if he happens to be behind and must get it finished soon.

And on that note, he absolutely cannot stand the cold. He prefers those hot days when the sun is beating down on the sun-burnt country he grew up in, when it seems that instead of a country the place he's inhabiting is an oven than to the days where it's so cold it sends a shiver down everyone's spine as the rain pours down heavily and the sun disappears a thick coverage of clouds.

Favourite Food:
His favourite drink is banana milk, he can hardly help himself from drinking the entire carton when it's bought and so his parents don't buy it that often any more. When it is bought Ash drinks it all within one night, they see it as a waste of money to only have him leave none for anyone else.

On that note, he absolutely loves quiches. Especially the ones with little bits of ham inside of them, he could live off of those if he was permitted and he never seems to get tired of them, but the last time he had one was some time ago as they're not an every day food in his household.

Extra Note:
He despises garlic and can taste it if it's put into any of his food; he'll refuse to eat it if garlic is present in any dishes because he finds the smell intolerable and it makes him ill. (He is not a vampire, he merely has a dislike of garlic.)

He's a Star Gazer:
Ashley is interested in astronomy, despite not being able to see the brilliant colours on the diagrams of planets and nebulas it has still captivated his interest.

On top of this, he believes there are other life forms out there, even though they might not neccessarily be face-hugger aliens or the advanced sort to be seen on TV, he has been reading up on this subject through various sources on the internet in his spare time.

On Mars there has been a discovery of carbon compounds which are said to be the first traces of 'martian' life ever found, this only fuels Ashley's belief in extra terrestrial creatures.

Ring, Ring:
He loves his phone and tends to text quite a lot, seeing as it's an iphone 2 (old, yes) he can use it to play music and carries it around with him everywhere. He's not shy about giving out his number and so he has a lot of contacts, some of which are unwanted and he should really get around to deleting. When he's bored he'll play around with it until the battery has gone out (which doesn't take very long, unfortunately) as he has indeed got a few good apps on there. Mostly tap-tap-revenge and angry birds.

His parents don't buy him a newer model because the one he has is still functioning and they don't see a point in wasting money on the shiniest, sleekest phone simply for the sake of having the shiniest, sleekest phone for their son.

Love of Animals:
With his love of Australian wildlife, most of it rests with reptiles and marine life although he certainly loves Australia's iconic mammals ( such as koalas, bilby's and platypus' ). He just has a general fascination for his country's wildlife and along with that came him researching upon the animals in his spare time. He is no expert on animals by any stretch of the imagination; it's more of a 'hobby', so to speak.

Fantasy and Imagination:
Ash has quite a wild imagination which has been with him ever since he was a small child running around the backyard with his sister pretending they were cowboys, ninjas, knights, pirates, or more embarrassingly; princesses. He has a great imagination but has no medium to express it. He has never been a particularly good artist or writer and usually flops when it comes to creative writing and even his colouring in is usually messy. The thoughts he has stay in his head and their journey ends there.
